Dr. Eva Shi,
PT, DPT
Dr. Eva Shi is a New York–based physical therapist specializing in both orthopedic and pelvic floor rehabilitation for women and men — from Achilles tendinopathy, joint replacements, and post-surgical recovery to pelvic pain, prolapse, and incontinence.
Practicing since 2020, she brings a holistic, research-driven approach that blends visceral, scar, joint, and fascial mobilization with instrument-assisted techniques (cupping, scraping), taping, and a strong exercise focus built to create lasting strength and independence, not just short-term relief.
Every treatment plan is designed around the individual patient's lifestyle, and her patients consistently describe her as technically sharp and genuinely attentive — someone who explains the reasoning behind each exercise, listens without judgment, and adjusts the plan as they progress.
Sessions are available by appointment only in a private Union Square studio or at home throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The Philosophy of SABI
In Japanese, sabi speaks to the beauty found in impermanence — the patina of time, the grace in what weathers and endures. Rooted in the wabi-sabi tradition, it finds meaning not in perfection, but in what is honest, worn, and quietly alive.
We bring this same reverence to the body. Honoring where you are right now. Supporting where you are going. Care that meets you as you are — not as you think you should be.
