SABI is an out-of-network provider. Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, a superbill or invoice can be provided so you can submit for potential reimbursement through your insurance plan's out-of-network benefits or HSA/FSA. Many PPO plans cover a portion of out-of-network physical therapy — it's worth a quick call to your insurer to find out.
Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation. Dr. Shi will take a detailed history, discuss your goals, and conduct a thorough physical assessment. From there, you'll leave with a better understanding of what's going on, tailored recommendations and referrals, and a personalized treatment plan.
SABI offers concierge in-home sessions throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, please contact to schedule. Clinic-based appointments are also available in Union Square. Your preference and convenience come first — just let us know what works best for you when you book.
Every person is different, and treatment length depends on the nature and complexity of your condition, your goals, and how your body responds. Dr. Shi will give you a detailed assessment after your evaluation and will check in regularly each session to adjust the plan as you progress. Follow-up sessions are typically 60 minutes but you have the option to book a 75 min pelvic floor session, as well as a 40 minute virtual session.
Yes. While pelvic health is often associated with women's care, Dr. Shi treats men as well — including men's pelvic pain, urinary dysfunction, and post-prostatectomy rehabilitation. Orthopedic and general physical therapy services are available to all patients regardless of gender.
